QuikTour
Player is a tool that allows you to quickly demonstrate and deliver
critical information in a cost effective manner. With capabilities
similar to Internet Explorer, it can be used to navigate HTML files, to
create and display multimedia presentations, and supports most plug-ins
and multi-media players, including Macromedia's Flash, Microsoft's Media

Player is a single 415 kilobyte executable (.EXE) that can be shipped
easily with 3rd party software products. This means fast
start-up, fast launching from your application, and fast viewing of
your content.

Player is designed with the option to store and view all of your HTML
and multi-media files from a single QZ file. Instead of shipping
and installing hundreds of HTML and image files, you ship only one QZ
file.

Player has a simple user interface, consisting of just a few standard
navigation buttons. Eliminate the screen clutter found in
heavy-weight browsers such as IE. The user sees your content in
a controlled window size –
better suited for tours and help files.

How
does QuikTour Player work?

QuikTour
Player allows you to create content using standard HTML, HTML editors, and
web-authoring tools such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, GoLive, and Splash.

After
you create your content, you can run QuikTour Workshop which is installed
in your QuikTour directory. The QuikTour Workshop allows you to select,
compress and organize your content into a single .QZ file. The
QuikTour Player can read all HTML and images from .QZ archive instead of
from disk. Ship just one single .QZ file instead of dozens of files.
